UF alumnus to speak about turning ideas into innovation and envisioning the world’s most connected campus

Duane Bray, a University of Florida alumnus and a partner of IDEO where he heads the firm’s Global Digital Business, will be returning to UF for the JumpstART IV event this February. Bray will be leading a discussion Feb. 9, free and open to the public, and a workshop Feb. 10 for selected constituents. Additionally, UF’s Engineering Innovation Institute will host a discussion, free and open to the public, Feb. 9.

UF alumnus Duane Bray, who heads IDEO’s Global Digital Business, will lead the discussion “Guerilla Innovation” for JumpstART IV Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. in 150 Hough Hall. The discussion, free and open to the public, will address how entrepreneurs, scientists, artists and engineers reinvent everyday processes and products. Additionally, the Engineering Innovation Institute will host “Ideation: Turning Ideas into Innovations” Feb. 9 in the New Engineering Building 102. This discussion, free and open to the public, will begin at 3:10 p.m.

Bray will also lead “Envisioning the World’s Most Connected Campus,” a workshop for selected constituents, Feb. 10 in the J. Wayne Reitz Union, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Post-workshop materials will be available to the public.
