Join the UF Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation for its speaker series on Friday

This Friday from 10 a.m. – noon, join the UF Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Hough Hall 150 for the next installment of its Spring 2012 Speaker Series. The CEI will host UF alumnus and Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchisee Chris Smith.

Chris graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He opened his first franchise location in 2007 and currently has 5 stores in operation including Savannah, Brunswick, and Whitemarsh Island, Georgia, and Bluffton, South Carolina. He currently holds the Five Guys Chain Records of Highest Sales Week, Highest Sales Day and Most $2,000 Hours in a Row.

The speaker series was created to enhance student understanding of topics relevant to entrepreneurship and innovation, provide the background necessary for students interested in entrepreneurial careers, and introduce students to resources in the entrepreneurial arena while providing a forum for networking and career development.
