Goals
- Short-term: Develop programs that incorporate on-the-job training and gain acceptance for expanding the on-the-job-training programs currently offered by the school system
- Long-term: Reduce drop-out rates and expand experiential learning
Organizational Home/Plan Champions
- Home: School Board of Alachua County
- Champions: School Board of Alachua County, Chamber of Commerce, local businesses
Resource Requirements
- Leadership: Coordinating entity to champion the project, most likely the Alachua County Board
- Infrastructure: Existing infrastructure possessed by the Chamber of Commerce, Santa Fe College, and the Alachua County Public Schools
- Capital: Existing systems would be used and would be sufficient for a small number of students; more students would require more infrastructure
