Xobotix – A lightweight mechanical exoskeleton that will assist in mobility and lower extremity rehabilitation after surgery or injury.

Green Liquid & Gas Technologies – Developing a green fuel burning mini-generator.

Emerald Endeavors – A solid gas sensor that will reduce waste and pollution in industrial processes.

Cankicide – A new bactericide delivery system to help fight citrus canker.

Delta R Detection – A system that detects trace amounts of explosives using only light.

Nimbuderm – A persistent skin sanitizer that can keep hands clean for up to 8 hours.

AlzAlert – A monitoring system to aid in-home caregivers of dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.

On Running – A revolutionary new running shoe technology, originally tested by Dr. Cade.

Plastic from Wood – Making biorenewable and quickly biodegradable plastics from non-petroleum sources.

Barrels of Hope – A nonprofit making affordable post-disaster homes in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
